Personalities of the horse scene: Christoph Hess
Christoph Hess has set himself the task of carrying German riding lessons into the world. You could also say: Horse is his program, 24/7. Not necessarily in the saddle, but rather on the ground, at the judge's table and in seminar rooms. On the 70th birthday of a training ambassador.
“I love horses and people, both equally” – Christoph Hess made all his decisions and chose his path in life from this perspective. From this perspective, his daily attention and his entire commitment are focused on training horses, or rather the horses and their riders as a team. His path took him to Warendorf, to a small house on the outskirts of town, Westphalian clinker brick, meticulously maintained garden, lovingly arranged, lush flower beds and a clear view of a grain field - “At night the deer come and mess with the flowers”. Christoph Hess receives a warm welcome despite the appropriate Corona distance. It quickly becomes clear that he is very interested in horses, but also in the people he meets. The conversation isn't about him at first, he wants to know who the other person is, gets an idea and asks questions before he starts talking about himself.
