The horse and its well-being are always the focus for Christoph Hess. For him it's not just about teaching technology, he also wants to awaken in his students a feeling for the horse as a living creature. For him, fine riding is not just limited to the time in the saddle, but also includes the entire handling and care of the horse. “It starts with me as a person having to make it clear to myself: What can I do to make the horse feel comfortable. This includes a smooth fit in the saddle as well as communication on the ground when the rider is leading the horse, for example,” emphasizes Christoph Hess.
